Comedy Night @ Toomler

Toomler/Comedytrain (map)

Selected By: Summer

Let’s meet up for an English spoken comedy show (and let’s have some burgers and beers while we’re at it)!
The Comedytrain International Summer Festival in Toomler features 2 new world class comedians every week, for seven weeks.
Last week featured one of the best comedians I’ve ever seen: the wonderful Rich Hall plus John Moloney.
Comedians from the UK, USA, Canada and even New Zealand, every Wednesday till Saturday until the 14th of August!
The promoters offered us a 50% discount on Saturdays entrance tickets…
So let’s have our Meet Ups there, starting this Saturday.
If you make a reservation by e-mail ([masked]) , you can refer to the Meet Up-discount.
This makes a ticket only €8,- for Saturdays shows!
Comedyclub Toomler is a cozy venue under the Hilton hotel, near the Vondelpark.
Address: Breitnerstraat 2. Tram 16, stop Emmastraat.

I just received a message from the Toomler saying the show is sold out...so I am not sure if you are on the waiting list if it is a good idea to just show up as I don't think you would get in.

@Ginger - Thanks for the update. How long would you be holding the seats for those on the approved list? (meetup time is 19.00, while the show starts at 20.30)

Will you organizers please make it clearer next time that emailing that address is mandatory, instead of using the word "if"? I biked all the way here and am being turned away even though I signed up on the meetup site.

I didn't organize this event I was just giving a heads up that they were sold out, as I was also confused at how this worked....hence the "if". It was confusing.

I also had friends who showed up without tickets. Sorry you biked all the way there and were turned away. The next event held there will be much more organized.
