It's been a roller coaster of emotions; joy, tears, terror and in Kit's own case humiliation. The end is in sight and with it an opportunity to detox before 'The Big Night Out'. I don't really understand football, but recognize a good party opportunity.

But first; the biggest night in footballing history for the Oranjes and the Spanjes.

A few of us will be communing at Museumplein with 100,000+ others to watch this momentous occasion and would like to invite you all along for the ride.

We will meet around 4 PM to start our tailgate. A good American tailgate usually starts 4 hours before the match and includes BBQ, drinks, music, laughs and conversation. We will have all the above, and we encourage you to bring your BBQ favorites, your orange and party enthusiasm.

Here lies a small hitch:
100k is expected. It is likely that the mobile network will probably crash closer to 8 PM, and we won't be able to find you. If you arrive after 7 PM, we will do our best to find you. If you arrive closer to 8, you are probably on your own.

However if by a miracle you can get a signal, call either Kit on 06 14 619 666, Mike on 06 41 118 713, or Marc on 06 52 443 390 and we will try and point you in the right direction.

Alternatively listen for a cockney accent, or look for a bright red burnt head and the skinniest, whitest legs in Amsterdam.

We advise to arrive early and bring some sort of liquid in case you start to melt.
