Volcanic activity in Iceland caused widespread disruption across Europe and its airspace in 2010. What causes volcanoes to erupt? And why do some erupt more violently than others?
Dr. Jane Chadwick, a geologist at the VU University Amsterdam is investigating what triggers violent volcanic activity. Her work takes her to study active volcanoes around the world to seek answers to these explosive issues!
Ticket: 22.50 euros (buffet dinner, excluding drinks).
